I've had all of my windows open for two days. Before that it was too hot too have them open during the day.

I was watching Ozzie chatter at something and there is a beautiful cardinal in my backyard! Is that crazy?

22 years ago tonight, I met Fernando. I walked into work after dinner and drinks that night and told my friends that, "I just met the man I'm going to marry."
6 days later he told me that he loves me.

10 months later we were married. 10 months after that we had Alexia.
He is the love of my life and I am so happy that I have been able to spend over half of my life with him. That was a pretty cool milestone to hit.

I hope everyone has an amazing NYE and a wonderful new year!

Yayi and I are going to hunker down and watch Straw Dogs and [rec]2.

Do any of you have scaled-down kitchens? Like just tools you use, maybe a couple of extras, like a Kitchenaid, just enough plates.

I need help scaling down my "tools" like spatulas, stirrers, necessities and stuff.
What do you have, what would you just get rid of? I have drawers that I can put cutting boards in if I get rid of old shit.

Please help.

What is ACTA?  ACTA is the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. A new intellectual property enforcement treaty being negotiated by the United States, the European Community, Switzerland, and Japan, with Australia, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Mexico, Jordan, Morocco, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada recently announcing that they will join in as well.

Why should you care about ACTA? Initial reports indicate that the treaty will have a very broad scope and will involve new tools targeting “Internet distribution and information technology.”

What is the goal of ACTA? Reportedly the goal is to create new legal standards of intellectual property enforcement, as well as increased international cooperation, an example of which would be an increase in information sharing between signatory countries’ law enforcement agencies.
